DU Spirits was born from a singular obsession: to redefine what British whiskey can be. Founded in the spirit of defiance against the ordinary, we set out to craft small-batch expressions that honour centuries of tradition while refusing to be bound by them.
Every drop is a declaration. From our hand-selected heritage grain to our patient cask maturation, each decision is made with one purpose — to create something truly worth savouring.
Three expressions. One uncompromising standard.
We never sacrifice character for volume. Each batch is distilled in our traditional copper pot stills, producing fewer than 3,000 bottles per expression — ensuring every bottle receives our full attention.
We work exclusively with British farmers growing heritage barley varieties, selected for their depth of flavour and their connection to the land. Provenance isn't a marketing word — it's a standard.
Time cannot be rushed. Our whiskies rest in carefully selected first-fill ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks, drawn from cooperages in Jerez and Kentucky, building complexity one season at a time.
